PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk (WIKA) was incorporated in 4 State Owned Enterprises (SOE) with two national printed Mass Medias held the Cheap Market 2012 in Cipinang Besar Utara Village, East Jakarta. The event with the theme ” Synergy of Media and State Owned Enterprises for the People” had been started since the April 3rd – 5th, 2012.

The Chiep Market 2012 is a form of cooperation between SOE Ministry, SOEs and Mass Medias which are intended for the poor people. Printed Medias that involved in these event were Bisnis Indonesia and Investor Daily whereas other 3 SOEs consists of PT Pembangunan Perumahan (Persero) Tbk., PT Hutama Karya (Pesero) dan PT Askes (Persero).

“We expect this market can ease the burden of people, especially in economic condition nowdays,” said Natal at the location.

Meanwhile, Head of Unit PKBL WIKA Su’udi and also as Head of Cheap Market Committee of Cipinang Besar Utara Villagen explainned that the basic food packages consist of 10 kg of rice, 1 kg of sugar and 1 liter of cooking oil and it is sold at IDR 30,000 per package.

“Basic food package worth IDR 100,000 that we sell at a price of IDR 30,000 to be accessible to the poor people,” said Dirham added.
