PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk (WIKA) received two new contract of toll road, namely Gempol – Pandaan toll road project Stage 1, package 2 with a contract value of IDR 255 billion and Toll Road Construction of Bogor Ring Road Section 2A (Kedung Halang – Kedung Badak package) of IDR 340.8 billion.

At the Gempol – Pandaan toll road project, WIKA was appointed as the main contractor to build the road along 5.95 km with a width of 2 x 13 m from the total road along the 11 km. This project was started in May 2012 and completion is planned for 15 months. The project which funded by PT Marga Bumi Adhi Karaya (a consortium of PT Jasa Marga) will be connected with the Surabaya-Gempol toll road which currently operates.

Expecially in Bogor Ring Road Toll Road Project, WIKA will use a precast double box girder technology with span by span systems in which the box girder that will be installed by using launching gantry will be stressing at the same time for a span length of 50 meter. In addition, the project also applies single bor pile (2.5 m diameter) as a foundation.

The project that planned to start in July 2012 will be completed within the next 17 months with the length of the road toll up to 2 km and a width of 2x 10.3 m. the project whose fund from PT Marga Sarana Jabar (subsidiary of PT Jasa Marga and Government of West Java) is a continuation of the road toll Bogor Ring Road Section I and after the operation, the project is expected to solve traffic problem in Bogor and its surrounding areas.
