PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk was awarded 1st Runner Up for Services Category and Commendation for The First Time Sustainability Reporting from the National Center for Sustainability Reporting (NCSR) in the event of Indonesia Sustainability Reporting Awards (ISRA) at the Hotel Mulia, Jakarta (21/12).

“This award is for companies that are publishing sustainability reports or annual financial statements have been integrated and increasing awareness of transparency and accountability,” said Jury Chairman, Sarwono Kusumaatmadja in his speech.

The award was given to the 36 companies (SOEs and private companies) that judged to have developed a report as a form of transparency and accountability reporting. This is the first time for WIKA, to follow the ISRA awards that was hold the seventh straight time and won the championship.

As the SOEs in the construction field, WIKA is a pioneer in making a report in accordance with global standards of sustainability performance that has been done. The standard is to follow the provisions of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), with reference to Sustainability Reporting Guidelines (SRG) version 3.0.
