PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk. (WIKA) has announced the results of the financial performance at the year 2011 which ended December 31, 2011. Sales in 2011 reached IDR 7.74 trillion, up from IDR 6.02 trillion in 2010. The increase of sales in 2011 valued at 28.54% was also driving growth in some business segments. Noted, Net Profit in 2011 was IDR 354.50 billion, up 24.42% compared with 2010, and Profit before Tax for the year 2011 reached IDR 629, 61 billion, up 33.02% from IDR 473.33 billion in 2010.

WIKA sales in 2011 was supported by five business segments of WIKA, namely construction, industry, real estate, trading and mechanical electrical. The construction business still provide the largest contribution to sales in 2011 were valued at IDR 3.33 trillion or 42.99% of total of WIKA sales, followed by mechanical and electrical valued at 2.38 trillion and industry valued at IDR 1.63 trillion. Meanwhile, in overall, the proportion of sales contribution in 2011 for holding company and Subsidiaries were 59:41 of total sales.
