PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk (WIKA) held the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGM) in fiscal year 2011 at WIKA D.I. Panjaitan Street Kav 9, East Jakarta (1/5).
At the meeting, there are 7 agendas that discussed, among others; approval of the Company’s Annual Report in year 2011 includes the Report of Company’s Activity, Report of the Supervisory Board of Commissioners, as well as the approval of the Company’s Financial Statements for the year 2011, Approval Report of the Partnership and Community Development Program Fiscal Year 2011, Determination of the use of Net Income for Fiscal Year 2011, appointment of Public Accountant to audit the Company’s Financial Statements for Fiscal Year 2012 and Financial Report Implementation and Partnership Program and Community Development Company for Fiscal Year 2012, Determination of tantiem in 2011, salaries and emoluments and other benefits for Board of Commissioner and Directors in 2012, delegation of authority to the Board of Commissioners to implement the company’s capital increase in order ESOP and MSOP program which has been decided by the AGM and Approval of Board Amendment of the Company.
For the third agenda, namely the determination of the use of Net Income for Fiscal Year 2011, the AGM decided the distribution of profits to a dividend of 30% of the net profit amounting to IDR 106.35 billion, up 6.7% from the last year amounted to IDR 99.7 billion. In addition to dividends, net profit is also used to PKBL fund 3% and 20% as mandatory reserves and Other Reserves by 67%. In this time in accordance with the AGM’s Agenda 7, the AGM had approved changes to the Board of Commissioners and the addition of a Director to strengthen its business development.
Until the first quarter of 2012, WIKA recorded growth of Gross Profit of IDR 194.27 billion, up 29.47% from IDR 150, 25 billion in the year 2011 at the same period. Profit growth was supported by the 2012 first quarter sales amounted to 17.4% to IDR 2.02 trillion, including JO of 2011 first quarter sales of IDR 1.72 trillion.
Until April 2012, the obtaining of WIKA new contracts were IDR 4 trillion. Several major projects, among others; Tanjung Batu Power Plant (50-60 MW) worth IDR 530 billion, 4 JGSBj package project of Bridge Construction Project and the New Railways of Central Java, worth IDR 285 billion, Package I Rehabilitation Works and Sabo Dam Construction in Yogyakarta Sleman valued at IDR 240 billion, the Project of Procurement & Installation of Refery MOP ANTAM Feni worth IDR 323.2 billion and the Tanjung Priok JICT Project worth IDR 172.6 billion and Bukit Golf Apartment Surabaya worth IDR 360.3 billion.
