Suramadu Bridge Project, Surabaya
Surabaya is another project which will be a pride one because it connects Java island to Madura island in Kamal. It is 5.4 km along with Cable Stayed system and will be a phenomenal bridge project construction ever exist due to character of esthetic it has. For many year people use ferries or boats to reach Madura from Surabaya (or vise-versa), but it looks like to be so saturated nowadays ? shown by crowded, jammed queue not only people but also vehicles to cross Madura Strait. Of course, after the project targeted accomplish in 2007, it facilitates traffic transportation between both islands, also support economic growth of Madura region. Construction company involved in Suramadu project are PT Hutama Karya, PT Agrabudi Karyamarga, PT Adhi Karya dan PT Waskita Karya.
