Waikabubak, 27 March 2022 – PT WIJAYA KARYA (Persero) Tbk. [WIKA] and PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. [BRI] synergizes together in organizing BUMN Service for Indonesia through a series of MSME trainings and social activities at the Prai Ijing Traditional Village, Tebara Village, Waikabubak City District, West Sumba Regency, East Nusa Tenggara, 27-30 March 2022.
Present at this event were: Representatives of the Deputy for Human Resources of SOEs, Technology and Information of the Ministry of SOEs, Social and Environmental Responsibility Management (TJSL) WIKA and BRI, as well as 10 participants from various SOEs. The participants are representatives of the younger generation of SOEs selected through the Employee Volunteering Program (EVP) mechanism.
The Head of Tebara Village, Prai Ijing Traditional Village, West Sumba, Marthen Ragowino Bira, expressed his gratitude and great appreciation for the support and assistance provided by BUMN, BRI, and WIKA.
"Useful support from SOEs will spur our enthusiasm, dedication, and best dharma bhakti to contribute to building West Sumba, NTT and Indonesia," he said at the opening of the BUMN Service for Indonesia in Traditional Village, Prai Ijing, Tebara Village, Waikabubak, West Sumba. , Sunday (27/3) evening.
Within 3 days of implementing the BUMN Service for Indonesia, participants will be encouraged to actively participate in several activities, including: mentoring and training for MSMEs (introduction to financial inclusion, content creation and digital marketing) including the introduction of BUMN, English Short Course to support Tourism Village Hospitality, Literacy and Inspiration classes from EVP participants, and socialization of stunting prevention for Kampung Adat residents with students from the Health Polytechnic of the Kupang Ministry of Health.

Furthermore, Harris also explained that through this activity, participants from various SOEs had direct opportunities to see, interact more closely as well as contribute scientifically, experience, and social service to the people of Prai Ijing Traditional Village, Waikabubak, West Sumba.
The BUMN Service Program is an Employee Volunteering Program that aims to increase the awareness of BUMN employees for the community and the environment through active involvement as volunteers in the implementation of the Social and Environmental Responsibility Program (TJSL) in each BUMN and across BUMN.
The locations for the implementation of these activities are spread over three locations; Lake Toba - North Sumatra, Mandalika - West Nusa Tenggara, and West Sumba - East Nusa Tenggara. Dozens of participants from various SOEs were selected to take part in this activity, including two WIKA employees, namely: Adam Ikhya Alfarokhi (Mandalika) and Dwi Angga Aditia Wibawa (West Sumba)
