Vaccination activities has been held for 5 days starting from 5 August until 7 August, 2021 with a target of 3,000 participants from the WIKA Group extended family and communities around Jakarta. This activity is part of a series of CSR programs in commemoration of the 76th Anniversary of Indonesian Independence, as well as a form of support for WIKA as a BUMN to make the national vaccination program a success.
The opening of the vaccine center received appreciation from the Head of Jatinegara Sub-district, Endang Sofyan. According to him, in an effort to accelerate vaccination that is encouraged by the DKI Jakarta Regional Government, collaboration with corporations is needed so that the vaccination target can be achieved, and WIKA has shown its seriousness from the beginning of preparation to the implementation of the vaccine program.
This activity itself is also a form of WIKA's concern for public health. WIKA's Director of HC and Development, Mursyid hopes that by providing this vaccine center, it can increase the number of community participation, so that it can encourage the formation of herd immunity in WIKA Group and the community around WIKA's business area.
