PT WIJAYA KARYA (Persero) Tbk. (WIKA) once again held a blood donation event with the theme “Be The One Who Saves a Life”, in collaboration with the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI). This humanitarian action took place at WIKA Tower II, Jakarta, on Wednesday (10/9).
The event, which is part of the Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program, successfully collected 194 bags of blood from donors consisting of WIKA Group employees and the surrounding community of Cipinang Cempedak Village. This number has increased compared to the previous period which collected 164 bags of blood, showing the growing enthusiasm and concern of the WIKA family for others.
One of the participants, a WIKA employee who was donating blood for the first time, expressed his happiness at being able to participate. “It feels good to be able to share and possibly help save other people's lives,” said Rizki. A similar sentiment was expressed by a resident of Cipinang Cempedak, who said that this activity was very beneficial for the surrounding community because it provided an opportunity to contribute to humanitarian efforts.
WIKA's President Director, Agung Budi Waskito, expressed his appreciation for the donors' participation. “This blood donation activity is tangible proof of WIKA's concern in helping to meet the national blood supply. We hope that this spirit of sharing will continue to grow within WIKA and benefit those in need,” he said.
Through routine activities that have entered their third period in 2025, WIKA affirms its commitment to continue providing tangible benefits to the community and strengthening the spirit of social awareness within the company.
