Consortium of PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk. (WIKA) won an investment tender of Soreang-Pasirkoja (Soroja) Toll Road Constrution worth IDR1.5 trillion.
Soroja Toll Road along 8.15 kilometers is planned to be connected to the Padalarang-Cileunyi toll road, with 3 exit gate, among others; Marga Asih, front of Jalak Harupat, and Government Building of Bandung Regency.
WIKA’s consortium plans to build toll road business entity who later became an associate company, together with the other consortium members; PT CMNP and PT Jasa Sarana with concessions (operating life) for 45 years. "The share portion of WIKA is 25% and the rest owned by other consortium members," said Director of Operations I WIKA, Gandira Gutawa.
This project will soon begin physical construction at the end of 2015 and scheduled for completion before the event of “Pekan Olahraga Nasional” (PON) in 2016 due to a number of PON’s venues in the Soreang area, Bandung regency.
The construction of this toll road becomes "fresh air" for the people of Bandung Raya because this project can be realized ultimately. In addition, the project is expected to boost economic growth, especially in the Soreang area and supporting natural tourist destinations and agro in Bandung regency.
