WIKA Establishes a New Subsidiary Wijaya Karya Jabar Power

Corporate Secretary of WIKA Natal Argawan explained, WIKA as majority of shareholder by 55 % shares, remaining will be owned by PT Jasa Sarana (40%) as BUMN of Sumedang and PT Resources Jaya Teknik Management (5%).

WIKA Power will supply electricity for Sumedang Regency – West Java for next 30 years. It is related with tender that WIKA win. The tender had been held by PLN at last 2008.

The construction of geothermal power plant will be started in 2012 until 2013. At the next 2014, WIKA Jabar Power will supply electricity to Sumedang Regency.

Meanwhile, the fund for preparing and constructing geothermal power plant reaches U$ 107 million.
