PT Ceria Metalindo Indotama [CMI], a subsidiary of PT Ceria Nugraha Indotama [CNI] signed a WIKA cooperation contract for the EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) synergy for the Construction of a Nickel Processing and Refining Plant for Rotary Kiln Electric Furnace (RKEF) Production Line 3 & 4 (2 x72 MVA) with a contract value of IDR 2.8 trillion and US $ 180 million. The signing was carried out by the President Director of PT CNI, Derian Sakmiwata and the President Director of WIKA, Agung Budi Waskito and witnessed by the Management of the two companies in Jakarta, Friday (27/11).
Apart from CMI, a subsidiary of CNI that also signed with WIKA is PT Ceria Kobalt Indotama [CKI]. The collaboration between the two focuses on the EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) synergy of the Nickel Laterite Hydrometallurgy Project and a power plant with an estimated contract value of US $ 1.1 billion. The Cobalt Processing and Refining Technology (HPAL) Facility Construction Project which is the core of the collaboration with CMI - WIKA is projected to have an annual production capacity of 100,000 tons / year Mixed Hydroxide Precipitate (MHP) (40% Ni and 4% Co in MHP ) and 158,000 tonnes / year of Chromium concentrate.
