WIKA Wins Two projects of EPC and power plant in amount of IDR 299, 5 billion
On the last August 8th, 2008, PT Wijaya Karya (persero) Tbk had won project of RFO (Rehabilitation and Flexibilities Operation) PF II from PT Petrokimia Gresik in amount of IDR 129, 5 billion. The project is more strengthen WIKA as EPC (Engineering Procurement Construction) company.
Scopes of WIKA’s work is modification of SP36 phosphate fertilizer factory become factory of SP36 phosphate fertilizer or compound NPK factory. The expected production capacity of RFO PF II factory is 500.000 MTPY of SP36 fertilizers or 480.000 MTPY of NPK fertilizers. The others WIKA works in this project are design, procurement, installation, controlling, and testing in Mechanical, civil, electrical and instrument field.
The other success EPC projects are Tuban Aromatic project and CPO factory, and now, WIKA is caring out two power plants as EPC company capacity, i.e.; Nort Sulawesi Power plant (2×25 MW) in amount of IDR 647 billion and South Kalimantan Power plant (2x65MW) in amount of IDR 600 billion.
Beside that RFO project, WIKA is success to obtain project of turbine gas supplier in North Sumatera power plant 40 MW from PT PLN in amount of IDR 170 billion, by this project, WIKA has contribution again in national energy sector.
In building business, on July 2008, WIKA obtained 5 new contracts in amount of IDR 383 billion, the projects are apartment of Cervino Village (IDR 160,37 billion), Astra Building (IDR 75 billion), LJ. Meritus Hotel (IDR 62,95 billion), MT Haryono Square (IDR 44,86 billion) and SMAN 3 Unggul Tenggarong Lanjutan (IDR 39,97 billion).
At the present time, WIKA has already won 30 % market share of power plant which included in government program 10.000 MW. Several power plants are built by WIKA i.e.; PLTU Banten 2 Labuan, PLTU Indramayu, dan PLTU Pelabuhan Ratu.
WIKA is participating PLN tender to become Independent Power Producer (IPP) for two power plants i.e; PLTGU in Tampomas and PLTU in Bali.
Until the end of 1st semester 2008, WIKA revenue has reached IDR 2, 7 trillion (45 % of 2008 target in amount of IDR 6, 05 trillion. The WIKA ‘s order book has reached IDR 11,1 trillion until the end of first semester in 2008 (78,7 % from 2008 order book target in amount of IDR 14, 1 trillion)
