Indonesian citizen, born in Riau, April 21, 1961, Firdaus Ali took his Bachelor's degree at the Bandung Institute of Technology majoring in Environmental Engineering in 1988, then he earned a Masters in Environmental Technology at the University of Wisconsin Madison in the United States in 1998 and a Doctorate in University of Wisconsin Madison in the United States in 2002.
He was appointed as Commissioner of PT WIJAYA KARYA (Persero) Tbk. through the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) on June 8, 2020. He was also trusted as the Special Staff of the Minister of PUPR in the field of Water Resources since 2015 until now, and has been a Senior Lecturer and Researcher at the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Indonesia since 1988 up to now.
