Jakarta - PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk (WIKA) distributed educational assistance and food packages to Yayasan Sayap Ibu on Wednesday (07/08). The assistance was directly handed over by Mr. Hadjar Seti Adji, Director of Human Resources Management & Transformation at WIKA, to Mrs. Tjondrowati Subiyanto, Chairwoman of Yayasan Sayap Ibu, along with students and foster children of Yayasan Sayap Ibu, including children with special needs/disabilities aged 0 to 18 years.
As part of the event, WIKA provided assistance in the form of renovations to the PAUD (early childhood education) room at Yayasan Sayap Ibu, whose students are foster children from the orphanage and local residents categorized as underprivileged families. The total assistance provided for infrastructure improvements and food packages amounted to IDR 45 million.
Hadjar stated that the company is not only business-oriented but also committed to making a positive impact on the wider community. "This program is part of the implementation of the company's social pillar in line with the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) concept that we adhere to. We hope that this assistance can support the needs of the children at Yayasan Sayap Ibu and help them achieve their dreams," said Hadjar.
