PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk (WIKA) continues to demonstrate its commitment to supporting national strategic infrastructure through the Patimban Port Package 6 Project in West Java. To date, construction progress has reached 85.25% and is targeted for completion in October 2026. As the Patimban Port project is completed in phases, parts of the port area have begun operations and will continue to be developed gradually to optimize national logistics capacity and services. The scope of work for Package 6 includes quay wall structure construction, land reclamation for the container yard area, and mechanical and electrical (M&E) works. This project is a key component in developing Patimban Port as a new logistics hub in Indonesia. Several major works have been completed, including the quay wall structure and sand filling for reclamation. Ongoing works include rigid structure construction and mechanical and electrical installations to support the port’s operational readiness. To ensure efficiency and quality, the project applies innovative construction methods using a precast system for the silt ditch, enabling faster, more precise, and well-controlled execution. President Director of WIKA, Agung Budi Waskito, stated: The development of Patimban Port Package 6 offers strategic benefits, including reducing the burden on Tanjung Priok Port, improving logistics cost efficiency along West Java’s industrial corridor, and strengthening integration within the Rebana Metropolitan area (Cirebon–Patimban–Kertajati). The project also supports increased export capacity, particularly for Indonesia’s automotive sector. Through this project, WIKA reaffirms its role as a strategic partner to the government in delivering quality infrastructure that drives economic growth and national connectivity.
“Patimban Port Package 6 is part of a strategic effort to strengthen national logistics connectivity. WIKA is committed to completing this project on time with the highest quality, delivering tangible contributions to improving logistics efficiency and national industrial competitiveness.”
