PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk (WIKA) recorded the acquisition of new contracts worth IDR 2.16 trillion until Quarter 1 2025. This achievement reflects the Company's transformation efforts to be more competitive and optimal in seizing new project opportunities. In addition, this value also strengthens WIKA's existence in the national construction sector in building various strategic projects that are beneficial to improving the quality of life of the Indonesian people.
Based on work segmentation, the largest contribution to the acquisition of new contracts came from the construction support industry which recorded the realization of 70% of the total acquisition. Meanwhile, the Infrastructure & Building segment contributed 23%, the Property segment 6%, and the rest came from the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) project segment.
The new projects achieved by the Company until March 2025 include the Bobong Regional General Hospital (RSUD) Revitalization Project in Taliabu Island Regency and Maba Regional General Hospital in East Halmahera Regency, North Maluku Province. These strategic infrastructure projects have important benefits and a direct impact on improving the health and welfare of the local community. With a contract value of Rp127 billion for RSUD Bobong and Rp121 billion for RSUD Maba, the project initiated by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia aims to improve the function of existing hospitals from type D to type C, so that they can provide optimal, comfortable and quality health services for the local community.
In its implementation, WIKA acts as a leader in the Joint Operation (KSO) with Griksa for the Design & Build scheme for revitalizing hospital buildings. The Bobong Regional Hospital project itself began in February 2025, followed by Maba Regional Hospital which began implementation in March 2025. Both projects are targeted for completion in December 2025. The source of funding comes from the 2025 State Budget (APBN) and is part of the Government's 100-day priority program. The signing of the contract was carried out by the Ministry of Health together with Kurniawan Prabawayudha as General Manager of Building Division WIKA representing the KSO project.
WIKA President Director, Agung BW, said that this project is a form of the Company's real contribution in supporting the distribution of national health infrastructure. "With the best resources we have, we target to complete this project on time and the best quality to improve the welfare of the Indonesian people. For this reason, WIKA will continue to carry out business transformation and work innovation so that project execution can be carried out effectively and efficiently."
