Promoting the Expansion of the Anti-Bribery Management System and the Integration of Digital Governance Systems
Jakarta - PT WIJAYA KARYA (Persero) Tbk (WIKA) is increasingly promoting various corporate governance strengthening programs as part of the Company's 8-stream health program. Management believes that corporate governance strengthening is the most fundamental thing to ensure WIKA's business processes are sustainable.
So far, WIKA has recorded a GCG assessment score of 95.116 from BPKP in 2022, which is in the very good category. BPKP also gave WIKA a very good predicate in terms of accountability and effectiveness through the ICORPAX assessment for the same period with a score of 82.19.
Not only that, in 2023, the Company expanded the scope of the implementation of the ISO 37001:2016 Anti-Bribery Management System (SMAP) comprehensively. In the same year, the Company also issued guidelines for prohibiting conflicts of interest and integrated governance procedures in accordance with the mandate of Permen 02 BUMN Year 2023, which are applied throughout the WIKA group.
Digitalization is also an integral part of governance strengthening, where the Company has also carried out a comprehensive upgrade of the digital ERP system, the implementation of risk-based four-eyes principles, and the Digital Control Tower (DCT) as a facility for monitoring company performance in real time by integrating various applications to obtain the data that is very much needed in making decisions quickly. Not to mention the provision of a digital WIKA whistle-blowing system (WBS) channel that has been integrated with the KPK since 2021 to handle complaints related to gratuities.
In terms of procurement of goods and services, WIKA applies procedures in accordance with the principles of transparency and accountability by using an electronic procurement (e-proc) system that is integrated with the pengadaan.com website in selecting work partners, while in selecting UMKM work partners, the Company utilizes a platform developed by the Ministry of SOEs, namely PADI UMKM.
For its efforts in strengthening governance, WIKA has received the predicate of most trusted company based on the Corporate Governance Perception Index (CGPI) by the Indonesia Institute for Corporate Governance (IICG), and is at level 4 with a score of 94.02 based on an assessment from Asean Corporate Governance.
WIKA also won the Best Non Financial Sector award for the Mid Cap category and entered the Top 50 (Top 10) Middle Capitalization Public Listed Company in the granting of the 14th IICD Corporate Governance Award 2023.
