PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk (WIKA) again shows its commitment to be present in the community through active support for the annual program “Mudik Bersama BUMN 2025”. This program is an initiative of the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) to help people return to their hometowns for free, safely, and comfortably ahead of Eid al-Fitr 1446 H.
As part of the program series, the release ceremony was held centrally at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium (GBK) Jakarta which was attended by SOE Minister Erick Thohir, Minister of Transportation Dudy Purwagandhi, and all SOE Directors who participated in the Mudik Bersama SOE 2025 Program, including WIKA Finance Director Adityo Kusumo on Thursday (27/03).
As a form of participation in the program, WIKA also simultaneously held the release of Mudik Bersama BUMN in the WIKA Tower Building Area. A total of 400 travelers were dispatched using 10 buses with the destinations of Solo, Yogyakarta, Surabaya, Malang, and Purworejo.
WIKA President Director, Agung Budi Waskito (BW) said that the Mudik Bersama program is a form of corporate social responsibility while supporting the government in providing mass transportation modes for the homecoming community. “Through this program, WIKA supports travelers to be able to go home safely, comfortably and happily. WIKA's participation in Mudik Bersama BUMN is a form of WIKA's commitment as a BUMN that not only focuses on development, but also concerns itself with social programs that benefit the community while supporting Government Programs.”
The Mudik Bersama BUMN program not only helps the community from an economic perspective, but is also expected to reduce the density of private vehicles on the road, thus contributing to traffic safety and the smooth flow of national homecoming. In addition to free transportation facilities, travelers will also get snack packages, health checks, and free travel insurance. WIKA also ensures that all vehicles used are suitable and meet road safety and security standards, and bus drivers must be declared fit during the medical check-up test.
