The Jakarta National Brain Center Hospital (RSPON) construction project is showing significant progress and high optimism. As of mid-April 2025, the physical progress has reached 98.2%. Major structural elements such as buildings, facades, and supporting infrastructure have been completed. Currently, the Company is completing the final stage and conducting system testing to ensure all functions are running optimally.
Targeted for completion in May 2025, this project is an important milestone in strengthening national health services, especially in the field of neurology. PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk (WIKA) as the project implementer, emphasizes its commitment to providing health infrastructure that meets high standards and is in line with today's modern era.
"The construction of RSPON Jakarta is a tangible manifestation of the Company's contribution in supporting the improvement of national health services. WIKA is proud to be able to present comfortable and quality health infrastructure facilities, while having a direct impact on improving public health," said Agung BW, President Director of WIKA.
In its implementation, WIKA adopts Building Information Modeling (BIM) 6D technology to improve efficiency, accuracy and data integration from the planning stage to construction implementation. BIM 6D technology not only supports technical and managerial aspects, but also contributes to reducing the carbon footprint (decarbonization) through more environmentally friendly material planning. The application of BIM 6D is in line with WIKA's efforts to consistently implement Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles.
RSPON Jakarta stands on an area of 116,000 m² and includes three main buildings consisting of 11 floors, one basement, and one semi-basement. The hospital is designed as an integrated service facility that combines the functions of medical services, education, and research in a single system.
WIKA's success in building RSPON Jakarta also strengthens WIKA's portfolio in the health infrastructure sector. Previously, WIKA had completed a number of international standard hospital projects, such as the Surabaya Kemenkes Hospital and the Jakarta Friendship Hospital, which received direct appreciation from the 7th Indonesian President Joko Widodo. Consistency in presenting quality health facilities shows WIKA's commitment to supporting the development of national health services in a sustainable and world-class manner.
Excellent facilities available in RSPON include the Education and Research Building, Parking Building, and Service Building equipped with Radiology Room, Operating Room, Cath Lab, and advanced technology such as LINAC and RMI. The presence of these facilities strengthens RSPON's position as a national referral center for the treatment of brain and nerve cases.
More than just physical development, this project reflects WIKA's active role in presenting concrete solutions for today's healthcare needs. By carrying out modern and high-tech building quality, RSPON Jakarta is expected to be a symbol of the progress of inclusive and sustainable health services for all Indonesian people.
