PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk (WIKA) continues to accelerate the completion of the Sekolah Rakyat Cilacap construction project as part of its support for the government’s program to expand equal and quality access to education for the community.
To date, the construction progress of Sekolah Rakyat Cilacap has reached nearly 32%. WIKA targets the project to be completed by June 20, 2026, while continuing to prioritize work quality and safety implementation on site.
To meet the completion target, WIKA has implemented various acceleration measures, including a 24-hour work system with two shifts. Resource support has also been strengthened, with the current workforce reaching 1,170 workers. In addition, nearly 100% of the main materials have been delivered to ensure smooth project execution.
Corporate Secretary of PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk, Ngatemin, stated that the acceleration of Sekolah Rakyat Cilacap’s construction is being carried out in a measured manner through workforce optimization, strengthened material supply, and intensive coordination on site.
“WIKA continues to accelerate construction to ensure that Sekolah Rakyat Cilacap can be completed according to the June 20 target, with the best quality and optimal results. Currently, work is being carried out 24 hours a day in two shifts, supported by 1,170 workers and the availability of materials that have almost entirely been delivered. We hope that Sekolah Rakyat can soon be utilized by the people of Cilacap and surrounding areas as a proper learning facility, especially for underprivileged communities, in line with the President’s directive to provide access to education that can develop excellent Indonesian human resources,” said Ngatemin.
In its implementation, WIKA, together with WIKA Gedung and related partners, continues to strengthen coordination on site to ensure that work runs optimally and according to target. Despite facing various challenges, ranging from social aspects to the procurement of materials such as concrete, WIKA continues to accelerate all stages of work so that they can be completed as planned.
Through these various acceleration efforts, WIKA is optimistic that the construction of Sekolah Rakyat Cilacap can be completed according to target and deliver real benefits to the community, particularly in supporting equal access to education and strengthening the quality of Indonesia’s human resources.
