PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk (WIKA) has once again demonstrated its strengthened sustainability performance by achieving an ESG Score of 64/100 based on the assessment of international rating agency S&P Global Sustainable through the 2025 Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA). This achievement is a significant improvement compared to the previous year's score of 53/100 and exceeds the global Construction & Engineering industry average of 31/100.
In the Construction & Engineering sector, WIKA ranked 13th globally out of 234 companies, 5th in the Asia Pacific region, and 1st among Construction & Engineering companies in Indonesia.
S&P Global's ESG assessment is conducted comprehensively through evaluation of corporate information disclosure, participation in the Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA), media and stakeholder analysis, and a sustainability data modeling approach.
WIKA President Director Agung BW said that this achievement is the result of the Company's consistency in implementing sustainability-based business transformation.
“This ESG Score achievement is proof of WIKA's commitment to ensuring that every development not only brings economic value, but also provides sustainable social and environmental benefits. ESG will continue to be the main foundation of the company's transformation towards resilient growth, global competitiveness, and support for the achievement of National SDGs,” said Agung BW.
In line with the company's decarbonization strategy, WIKA also targets achieving Net Zero Emission (NZE) by 2055 as a tangible contribution to the sustainable development agenda and strengthening the company's competitiveness in the global construction industry.
