Through the WIKA Goes to Campus program, all Directors of PT WIJAYA KARYA (Persero) Tbk (WIKA) were present to welcome more than 3,000 students at 7 prestigious universities in the country which are Gajah Mada University, University of Indonesia, University Brawijaya, Sepuluh November Institute of Technology, Sebelas Maret University, University of Diponegoro, and University of Udayana.
The presence of the Board of Directors, according to WIKA's President Director Agung Budi Waskito, was intended to invite students to see various development works that have been completed domestically and abroad over the organization's 63-year history as well as the future of infrastructure, including a number of government development programs like the Ibu Kota Nusantara and others. Agung Budi Waskito (Agung BW) hopes that the directors of WIKA's presence will add context and offer fresh perspectives, particularly on construction in the digital age and widespread innovation, so that students will be equipped with the skills necessary to meet the demands and challenges of the working world.
WIKA's President Director, Agung Budi Waskito, said that the presence of the Board of Directors was to invite students to see various development works at home and abroad during their 63 years of existence and the future face of infrastructure, including a number of government development programs including the Ibu Kota Negara, and others.
Agung Budi Waskito (Agung BW) hopes that the presence of WIKA's Directors can add insight as well as present new perspectives, especially construction in the digital era and massive innovation, so that students can have the right competencies according to the needs and challenges in the world of work.
"WIKA Group itself continues to bring out new breakthroughs such as modular, digital construction, and green construction to ensure that infrastructure development can be carried out with efficiently good quality and faster while at the same time fulfilling the Sustainability Development Goals (SDGs) aspect and one of the SOE Social and Environmental Responsibility Focus Goals set by KBUMN," continued WIKA's President Director Agung BW when sharing in in front of students at Gadjah Mada University, Yogyakarta.
WIKA also distributes assistance to the needs of University to support the teaching and learning activities during the WIKA Goes to Campus event.
WIKA Goes to Campus is one of a series of TJSL activities for WIKA's 63rd Anniversary after previously successfully holding 6300 mangrove planting activities. Other series of TJSL activities in commemoration of WIKA's anniversary include an Environmental Education Seminar on the Decarbonization Theme with Students and Content Creators, Food Distribution, and One Day with TJSL WIKA. One day TJSL WIKA is one of a series of anniversary activities presented to celebrate PT WIKA's 63rd anniversary. in this activity, there are joint gymnastics for WIKA employees, FUN Games, Mini MCU Examination in collaboration with 4 Hospitals, art activities (Bands), Bazaar for WIKA fostered partner SMEs, Book Garage and Creativity Work for event participants.
