PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk (WIKA) once again demonstrated its commitment to delivering benefits to the community through the organization of the SOE Mudik Bersama Program and Ramadan Bazaar, as part of the company’s Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) initiatives. The activity aligns with this year’s homecoming theme, “Safe Homecoming, Sharing Hope,” and reflects the company’s tangible contribution to supporting public convenience during Eid celebrations while encouraging the growth of MSMEs. The program is also part of the 2026 SOE Free Homecoming Program coordinated by Danantara and BP BUMN.
In this year’s SOE Mudik Bersama Program, WIKA Group facilitated 408 participants consisting of members of the public and the company’s frontline employees. Participants departed from the Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) departure point and WIKA Head Office to several destination cities across Java Island.
To support a smooth journey, WIKA provided 10 buses serving routes to Malang, Purworejo, Solo, Yogyakarta, and Surabaya. This program aims to assist workers and communities around the company’s operational areas, particularly those from middle-to-lower income groups, to return to their hometowns safely, comfortably, and affordably to celebrate Eid with their families.
In addition to the homecoming program, WIKA also organized a Ramadan Bazaar featuring 39 MSME tenants from WIKA Group partners offering food and beverage products, clothing, and handicrafts. All tenants are MSME partners fostered by WIKA Group, including participation from disability foundations as part of the company’s commitment to inclusivity and community economic empowerment.
The Ramadan Bazaar is part of the company’s ongoing contribution to supporting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, by creating business opportunities and enhancing the capacity and competitiveness of fostered MSMEs to grow sustainably.
WIKA President Director, Agung Budi Waskito (BW), stated that WIKA’s participation in the SOE Mudik Bersama Program and the Ramadan Bazaar reflects the company’s commitment to delivering broader social benefits to the community.
“Through the SOE Mudik Bersama Program and Ramadan Bazaar, WIKA hopes to provide convenience for the public to celebrate Eid with their families in their hometowns while encouraging the growth of fostered MSMEs. WIKA will continue to present TJSL programs that generate positive impacts for society and support inclusive and sustainable economic development,” said Agung BW.
Through these social initiatives, WIKA aims to continue delivering tangible benefits to the community while strengthening the company’s role in supporting inclusive and sustainable economic development in Indonesia.
