PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk (WIKA) successfully recorded new contracts worth IDR 17.43 trillion throughout 2025. This achievement reflects the Company's continued positive performance amid the dynamics of the national construction industry, while also affirming WIKA's position as a national development agent that supports the government's development agenda as outlined in the Asta Cita of the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto.
Based on industry segmentation, the largest contribution to new contracts came from the Infrastructure and Building segment, supported by road, bridge, water resources, government building and public facility projects. Meanwhile, the Energy & Industrial Plant (EPCC), Construction Support Industry, Property & Realty, and Investment segments also strengthened the Company's portfolio through a diversified and balanced composition of work.
Throughout 2025, WIKA has secured various important national infrastructure projects that support government programmes and provide benefits to the wider community. Some of these projects include the construction and improvement of infrastructure in the Nusantara Capital Region (IKN), the Patimban Toll Road Access Project Package 2 to improve logistics connectivity, the Merauke Flood Control Project and the North Sumatra Irrigation Network for water security, the People's School Programme in West Kalimantan, which is a manifestation of the Company's support for equal access to education, the Sardjito Hospital Health Facility Development Project in Yogyakarta, which supports the improvement of health infrastructure, and the SKG Belawan - Labuhan Batu Station Gas Transmission Pipeline Development Project, which encourages the downstreaming of national industries.
Not only contributing to national strategic projects, WIKA also carries out its social role through the construction of Danantara Housing (Huntara) in Aceh Tamiang. The construction of Huntara was carried out as a rapid response in helping communities affected by disasters by providing decent, safe, and comfortable housing during the recovery period. Additionally, WIKA has been appointed by the Ministry of Public Works as the contractor for the Aceh 1 Post-Disaster Emergency Response Work Package, which is being implemented in East Aceh, Aceh Tamiang, and Langsa City.
WIKA President Director Agung Budi Waskito (BW) said that the new contracts secured throughout 2025 are the result of the Company's consistent transformation, which focuses on project execution excellence, disciplined risk management, and a cash-focused strategy.
"These contracts demonstrate the continued trust of our stakeholders. WIKA will ensure that every project is carried out professionally, efficiently, sustainably, and beneficially to realise the Government's Asta Cita programme," said Agung BW.
Looking ahead, WIKA is optimistic that the prospects for contract acquisition will remain solid in line with the government's focus on infrastructure development, industrial downstreaming, and strengthening national connectivity. With its capabilities as an integrated national Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contractor and the sustainable application of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles, WIKA is confident that it can continue to increase its competitiveness while creating long-term added value for the community and all stakeholders.
