PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk (WIKA) provides support for Srikandi BUMN through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Srikandi BUMN and UN Women. This aims to strengthen the role of Srikandi in the BUMN environment in implementing the Women's Empowerment Principles (WEPs), Respectful Workplace Policy (RWP), and Employee Wellbeing Policy (EWP). The MoU signing was held on Tuesday (19/02/2025) at the Ministry of SOEs Office, Jakarta.
The signing was carried out between WIKA's President Director, Agung Budi Waskito (BW) with Srikandi BUMN and UN Women, and witnessed directly by Tedi Bharata as Deputy for Human Resources, Technology, & Information of the Ministry of BUMN and Hadjar Seti Adji as Director of Human Resource Management and Transformation of WIKA as well as representatives of the Indonesian Human Capital Forum (FHCI). This signing is also in line with the Company's commitment to implementing RWP and Human Rights Policy, and emphasizes WIKA's support in creating an inclusive and equal work environment for all employees, especially women.
Until now, Srikandi BUMN continues to play an active role in encouraging the development and implementation of gender equality policies within BUMN. In addition, Srikandi BUMN also continues to strive to create an inclusive work environment, free from violence and discrimination. The signing of this cooperation is believed to further strengthen the Company's commitment in supporting women's empowerment and leadership in SOEs, as well as inspiring the younger generation to be more courageous in contributing to the industry.

Although the construction world is synonymous with male-dominated fields of work, WIKA continues to strive to ensure equal opportunities for female employees at various levels, including various strategic positions in the Company. For information, WIKA currently has 212 female employees, or 10% of WIKA's total employees, who fill various positions up to the managerial level.
