Family Gathering at Taman Safari, Cheers with WIKA’s Big Families
Still in 50th WIKA Anniversary celebration on March 11, 2010, the whole WIKA’s families participated in family gathering at Taman Safari Indonesia Bogor (15/5).
Thousands of employees with their family left Jakarta at 06.00 a.m. through five departure locations; Head office-Cawang, Mesjid raya Bogor, Islamic Center Bekasi, Rawalumbu Bekasi,and WIKA Real Estate Cileungsi Bogor. Arrived at Taman Safari, the participants got tour to see wild animals live. At 10.30 a.m. the participants joined WIKA ceremonial event and see live show from artists, continued by free program and closed by Cowboy Show.
Previously, WIKA has celebrated its anniversary royally, starts with sports and arts week, charity event such as blood donor, staple goods donation and much kind of competitions such as photography and writing competition for mass media. The difference on this year, WIKA launched a book with title “Myelin-Mobilisasi Intangibles Menjadi Kekuatan Perubahan” which commissioned by Rhenald Kasali. This book launching was held in Gala Dinner ceremony in Borobudur Hotel, Jakarta, attended by Minister of State Owned Enterprise, Mustafa Abubakar, representative of Minister of Public Work and Minister of industry, MS Hidayat.
The book shows myelin or muscle memory which tells that human is not enough to invest on its brain only, but also its muscle in order to focus on action, making discipline culture and organizing intrapreneuring, values and also performance.
