Laying the groundbreaking stone marked as the initial step for the construction of the Kulon Progo Nahdlatul Ulama Hospital has officially begun, Friday (30/3). The following officials were present at the construction of the hospital in Girigondo Hamlet, Kaligintung Village, Temon sub-district, Kulon Progo: Minister of Villages, Development of Disadvantaged Regions, and Transmigration Eko Putro Sandjojo, Chairman of the PB-NU Said Aqil Siraj, Deputy Governor of D.I. Yogyakarta Sri Paku Alam X, Kapolda D.I. Yogyakarta Police Brigadier General Ahmad Dofiri, Dandim Kulon Progo Lt. Col. Armed Teguh Tri Prihantoro Usman, Director General of Research, Technology, and Higher Education Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education Ainun Na'im, Regent of Kulon Progo Hasto Wardoyo, Deputy Regent of Kulon Progo H. Sutejo, Independent Commissioner WIKA, Imas Aan Ubudiah, Director of Operations III WIKA Destiawan Soewardjono.
Laying the first stone for the construction of the Nahdlatul Ulama Hospital in Kulon Progo, Yogyakarta acted as a follow-up to the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between PT WIJAYA KARYA (Persero) Tbk. (WIKA) and the Nahdatul Ulama Executive Board (PBNU) regarding cooperation on partnership relations in the field of health and economic empowerment within NU and the general public, Friday, January 6 2017 at the PBNU Head Office, Kramat Raya - Jakarta.
