Jusuf Kalla Visits PLTU Labuan Banten
Vice President of Indonesia Jusuf Kalla accompanied by Minister of State Owned Enterprise Sofyan Djalil, Minister of Energy and Mineral resources (ESDM) Purnomo Yusgiantoro visited PLTU Suralaya-Cilegon Banten and continued visit to PLTU Labuan Banten. The project of PLTU Labuan Banten is one of PT Wijaya Karya Tbk (WIKA)’s works, Friday (4/4).
This visit has purpose to monitor project progress and also to know the project problems during its work, at the present time, the project progress reach 30 % and become the fastest project compared by other PLTU 10.000 MW projects.
At this project, WIKA has scope of work i.e. mass concrete, balance of plant, water treatment plant and control railing. On November 2007, WIKA was trusted to build Jetty whose progress reach 8 %. The Jetty has land 22 m x 175 m with contract value 404 billion. It is hoped in June 2009, the project will be completed on schedule.
