Talk Show on Delta FM Discusses How WIKA Go Public and Go International
Nearing the Initial Public Offering (IPO) PT Wijaya Karya (WIKA), IPO WIKA team cooperating with Delta FM holds a talk show in Delta FM Radio Station Jakarta, at 08.00 AM (30/8). During approximately an hour, President Director of WIKA A. Sutjipto and Financial Director Slamet Maryono explain the WIKA’s performance by responding to several questions related to the IPO WIKA’s plan and its business expansion abroad.
According to A. Sutjipto, through IPO, the company equity will be increased from IDR 400 Billion to +/- IDR 1 trillion. So that leverage of the company becomes IDR 2.5 trillion that can support the increasing of the sales turnover. The IPO fund is considered for the development of company business in EPC field and foreign business, and the investment in infrastructure field, such as; power plants, highways and bio energy. Financially, it can increase the fund access; increase its business values and investment of the solution system for the stake holders.
A. Sutjipto also adds that today WIKA is executing some domestic projects such as the road projects (Malang-Pandaan Highway, Surabaya-Mojokerto highway, Penjaringan W-I Flyover, Car Terminal- Tanjung Priok, Suramadu Bridge-East Java), Power Plant Project (PLTU Labuan-Banten, PLTU Labuan Angin-Sibolga, PLTU Jeneponto- South Sulawesi, PLTGU Muara Karang), and building projects (Sahid Sahirman Memorial Hospital, Belleza Apartment, Lucky Square Bandung, Adiwangsa Apartment, Join-venture Office for local government Riau, Cideng office, Dikti Bulding) including the construction of Palm Factory (PKS) I South Kalimantan and Granulation NPK II Petrokimia Factory.
For foreign market, WIKA is entrusted to execute a project in Myanmar, Cambodia, Alger (“East West Motorway” Highway), Dubai (Station Project of Metro Dubai Light Train (MLTD) and is conducting business trial in Libya.
