WIKA Achieves The Construction Work Award for The Category of Construction Engineering

The Public Work Department (PU) gave  award to PT Wijaya Karya (WIKA) as the construction work winner for the category of  construction Engineering  in the event The Best Construction Work 2007 in the multifunction hall of the Public Work Department,  Jakarta (22/11).

In that category, the Engineering Manager of WIKA, Suardi Bahar presented the innovation “The Shoring Method to The Soft Ground in the Construction Project of the Highway JORR E3 Cakung-Cilincing.”

The construction work succeeds to achieve the award since through this Shoring innovation, The JORR E3 project is capable of resulting the time rate efficiency of work, Through the utilizing of the Pile Cap as the Excafolding, and the the Pier head casting to solve the soft ground and the traffic disturbance.

The awarding of the Construction Work 2007 consists of the Award of the Construction Photograph Work, The Best Journalism Work, The Scientific Work and the Competition of construction builders and supervisors. For the Construction Work, beside WIKA, there are 3 other construction works, namely, The Category of The Construction Technology entitled The Earthquake House Foundation with the Spider Nest Construction, Category of Architecture Engineering entitled Glass as The Element of the Graha Sinar Rasa Building and the Category of Proper-use Engineering for the Work of The Gray Water Development with the Method of Ecotech Garden.
