WIKA Cooperates with SOE to Produce Gas Tubes
To support acceleration of conversion program from kerosene to gas, PT Wijaya Karya (WIKA) Tbk. together with PT Pertamina, PT Bosma Bisma Indra (BBI), PT Adhi Karya and PT Barata Indonesia signed Memorandum of understanding about procurement of LNG Tube 3 kg and valve at State Owned Enterprise (SOE) Ministry Building (16/07)
The signing which was watched by Minister of SOE Sofyan A. Djalil has the value in amount of IDR 3, 25 Trillion.
Previously, WIKA has investment of IDR 40 -50 billion to increase factory capacity to be 8 million units until the end of this year.
According to President Director of WIKA Bintang Perbowo, the prospect of gas tube procurement is more prospective along with procurement of 90 million gas tubes (3kg) which subsided by government in conversion program from kerosene to gas.
The business development of gas tube is predicted to give revenue about Rp1 trillion or 15% of market share of national gas tube. In producing WIKA gas tube is very concern about quality and environment because having certificate of ISO 9000 and ISO 14000.
