WIKA is interested in Road and Mosque Project of Algeria
Government of Algeria carried out road show to offer a number of infrastructure project tenders worth IDR hundreds billions to Indonesia companies, meanwhile PT Wijaya Karya Tbk (WIKA) is interested to participate the tenders.
At dinner event on Friday night (12/02) between Algeria’s ambassador for Indonesia, Abdelkrim Belarbi, Indonesian Ambassador for Algeir, Yuli Mumpuni Widarso and WIKA’s Board of Directors, Abdelkrim Belarbi offered potential infrastructure business. He hoped WIKA would be interested to constructs a number of projects in industry and trading sectors.
The projects that are interested by WIKA are construction of Grand Mosque in Constantine city, road project and gas pipeline along 1500 km project which connecting from the north to south Algeria. Those projects are still tender process now and WIKA will be participating at.
Yuli Mumpuni Widarso said that Indonesian Embassy would inform proactively to Indonesia regarding potential business of Algeria, especially, infrastructure sector that is being actively implemented in Algeria Government.
Based on Algeria Public Work Ministry data, in budgeting year through 2009 to 2014, that government will build 2 million social housing that budgeted by State Expenses Budget.
