PT WIJAYA KARYA (Persero) Tbk. (WIKA) and PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC) established a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) synergy program in the form of paving a number of roads as part of the Road Infrastructure Development program in the West Bandung Regency area.
In this CSR program, WIKA completed asphalting work in 4 (four) location segments in West Bandung Regency, including Segment I of the West Cisomang segment - Ganjar Sari Village Office along 6.45 km; Segment II of the Ciawitali – Mekarjaya segment with a length of 7,575 km; Segment III of the Cipada - SPN Saparua segment with a length of 12,993 km; Segment IV of Jalan Warung Domba with a length of 0.725 km includes the installation of channel stones and retaining walls in the four segments, as well as building a bridge in Ganjar Sari Village.
This project is a form of contribution from KCIC as the manager and WIKA as the contractor for the Jakarta Bandung Fast Train to support the growth of the area traversed by the first fast train in ASEAN. The hope is that the community can feel the benefits starting from the construction phase to the operation later.
Welcoming this CSR program, Plt. West Bandung Regent Hengki Kurniawan also appreciated the contribution of WIKA and KCIC in the development of road infrastructure in the region.
