WIKA Obtains Pertamina’s Projects in amount of IDR 600 Billion
PT Wijaya Karya Tbk (WIKA) obtained two new contracts of infrastructure construction projects from PT Pertamina in amount of US$ 60, 6 million or about IDR 600 billion.
“On August, we obtained two new contracts in amount of US$ 29, 7 million and US$ 30, 9 million,” said Finance Director of WIKA Ganda Kusuma in Jakarta.
He explained, the projects whose value is US$ 29, 7 million were obtained from Pertamina to construct DPPU Soekarno Hatta project. Construction of the project is for 30 months.
Ganda explained that company also success to win the project in amount of US$ 30, 9 million to construct terminal of LPG storage tank in Tanjung Sekong, Cilegon Banten. The capacity of that gas tank is 4 x 2.500 metric ton. The project will be constructed for two years.
The company has also added the project value in Alger from IDR 300 billion become IDR 600 billion, the project will be constructed together with contractor from Japan. Ganda added that WIKA’s subsidiaries i.e.; PT WIKA realty and PT WIKA Gedung will expand their business to Alger, the market share at that country is still large and WIKA Realty has possibility to work together with local developer to construct potential projects.
“Previously, we have already observed market condition at that country and the business opportunity is big enough,” said Ganda. Not only in Alger, WIKA also expanded its business to Libya and Africa at the future.
