PT WIJAYA KARYA (Persero) Tbk. (WIKA) together with PT Perkebunan Nusantara II (Persero) (PTPN II) agreed on a joint plan for the development, management and optimization of assets belonging to PTPN II, especially the Medan area, North Sumatra. This collaboration was marked by the Signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) conducted directly between the Director of Human Capital and WIKA's Development Novel Arsyad with the Director of PTPN II Mohammad Abdul Ghani at WIKA II Building on Monday (13/5).
This agreement was the first time the collaboration between WIKA and PTPN II was established and became a new milestone for the two companies to explore synergies. With the total area to be managed covering 109,409.61 hectares, the area includes Langkat District, Deli Serdang, Serdang Bedagaim Padang Lawas and Binjai.
